on my OEM injectors, i cracked that see thru coving around the nozzle end. Can this be fixed? will there be a problem if i remove the rest of it? can i Epoxy it?

That's the pintle cap. It'll be ok if it doesn't look like it's gonna fall off. If it is, then you can just take it off too, but it won't affect the spray. It's just to protect the pintle inside.

 

I think when you send injectors to get cleaned, they usually replace all the o-rings, seals, grommets, and they also replace the pintle caps.

 

Well I'm sending mine of to get done and yes they replace all the above, just make sure you request it to confirm.

 

where can i get the caps? honda dealer?

 

turbo E if it aint falling off then just leave it. itll be fine

 

i don't think it's a good idea to leave it that way. with fuel pressure or an increase in fuel pressure, eventually, it'll crack all the way. and you'll run into the danger of not only leaning out, but, having your car catch on fire

just go get those pintle caps replaced
they are cheap to replace

 

Im mostly concerned about the pieces of crap falling into my cylinders and holding a valve open or crunching in my turbo

yes its starting to fall off, so I can just remove or replace it, correct?
