Default couple of questions before boosting

I'm beginging to build up my b18c and i only have a few questions that I havent got an answer for yet...so if anyone can help me finish this up it would be great. Here are my options. I want to run revhard stage 2c 12 psi daily on my b18c1 with crower internals and 9:1 je pistons. hondata s200. I'm going for 300 whp.
I think I might be going a little over kill but thats ok i want to make this as reliable as I can I dont want to have to put a new headgasket in every other week and that is one of my main concerns.

Now I'm debating on either boring the block and resleeving it 84 mm or no boring it at all. How much more power will i gain from doing this to this engine? Is it worth the money?

Do I need a copper headgasket or can I use the oem with 12 psi of boost? I heard that I will keep blowing the headgasket?

I figure if i have to go with a copper headgasket I'll need to o ring the block and then that will be a bunch more money out of my pocket but if thats what I have to do thats what I have to....

Thanks for any help.

Well, you realize boring and re-sleeving are two different things. Resleeving to a bigger size is going to give you more torque from stock since you will have more displacement.
An OEM head gasket will be fine, just use ARP head bolts.
You don't have to use a copper head gasket (which I do not even know who makes one, Mr. Gasket?) with an o-ringed block. Maybe you are thinking of a copper sprayed head gasket in general.
Who are you considering to do your sleeves?

well trackside auto (its a local place in de and only one who would touch my car and only place i trust) He was a little unsure if i should go oem headgasket he said it might hold boost but it might not....thats what he wanted me to verify before i went ahead with it.

I know there is a difference between resleeving it and boring it out...but i figure if i bore it out i need to resleeve it or the walls will be weak....

Sorry, actually, I was thinking you meant honing. Still, if you bore out your cylinders, like you said, it will be too thin.
I think alot of guys have been using stock head gaskets and making alot of power with them. GE recommends you use a stock head gasket and their blocks are guaranteed to 60psi!

well i if i do bore it out i will resleeve it....so I'm debating just boring and resleeving or just leaving it stock....man what a decision...i have the money. I think I'll bore it out and resleeve it more torque sounds good to me.

DAR DAR DAR!!!!

Just sleeve it with a lsrger bore. OK? the stock head gasket is good enough if your not going to be pushed like 30psi. I would with GE for your needs.
