couple questions after installing my walbro fuel pump (viren)
First off, this is on a CRX. Now onto the first question: Was it suppossed to come with a clip to clip into the pump? It looks like it was suppossed to, but it didn't so I just used some spade female connectors and it seems to be working fine.
The second question is, I dropped the damn rubber thing (I think the instructions called it an isolator) into the tank...and I couldn't retrieve it. This couldn't clog anything can it? The filter on the pump is nice and big and the tank doesn't have any little passeges on the bottom or anything for it to get stuck in right?
The third and last question is about the electrical connections to the pump, the instructions said to just use butt connectors, and that you can discade any of the rubber covers that were on the stock pump....isn't this dangerous to have open wires in a gas tank???? I think it should be fine since the instructions said to do it..but I just need some confirmation
Thanks, -sean

The open wires are fine. Gasoline is not a conductor.
