A Couple Of Dilemas Here, Miss Fire??? Burning Oil???
well first off, i think im burning a lil oil, i only see smoke sometimes when i decelerate and get back on the gas (not hard), did a compression check, let me know your opinions on the results, motor has around 28k or so, 2001 GSR boosting 10 pounds. Could it be the seals are starting to go on the turbo? i have seem some leakage around the turbo house on the exhaust side, like oil is seeping through.
Dry-
5 cranks, from right to left
195-195-196-195
7 cranks
215-215-215-215
Wet - wet is pretty weird, when i put the tester in the first set was low, less compression built up? Then i release the air and redo it, compression jumps up. i will post them in sets.
From right to left
5 cranks
200-200-215-220 - First set
220-215- i forget the other 2 =/
7 cranks
220-230-230-230
then i was getting a lil flustered so i just redid the whole wet test over, just with one set each, (just putting in tester and doing it)
5 cranks
195-195-195-195
7 cranks
230-225-225-225, hope its not that confusing
Now on for the next issue, just so i dont have to make another thread
I think the spark is blowing out under full boost (hard boosting), sometimes, it happend last night and today i started trouble shooting.
I did a pull today from 1-3, 1-2 was real good, ripped through tire like nothing, 3rd gear around 6.5 or so tatatatata getting this popping ****, so i get off the freeway and get back on 1-3 was perfect this time, perfect enough for 3rd to rip tire, so i go back home and try these plugs i had see if that made a difference, they are 8s gapped at .28, put them in did a pull just in first and it misses or watever the hell it does, so i get off and do some more pulls, it goes just fine.
The plugs i had in before i switched were BKR7E-11 gapped at i dont know out of the box, first tuner put them in, (they were set bigger out of the box, but i put them at .28), so i did some more trouble shooting and looking over things, i notice that on the distrib cap the plugs they pop off a lil on each wire from the cap, like i would have to push them back in, also i took off the distrib cap and looked in side, i smelt the inside of it, just had this weird nasty almost burnt smell, i looked at the rotor where the lil piece of metal is (sorry not sure wat its called) and it looked all white and brownish like it was burnt to ****, and looked inside the cap at the electrodes and they looked the same, well i hope that didnt get too confusing and ****, but your help would be appreciated
oh yea, im using MSD wires

Sorry, but when you say wet-what exactly do you mean? do you add a little oil??
Also the compression numbers do not look bad at all, but make sure that you run the motor before the test. Also make sure that the 1st and second cranks the compression shoots up pretty high to like 150 on the first and like 200 on the second, then the subsequent cranks should increase gradually. If that does not happen then you are leaking in one of the cylinders. But from what I see it does not appear to do that.
Your misfire, change the plugs for the 7's and gap them at like 26, and decrease accordingly to see if that works. Before that make sure to change the cap and the rotor. If none of those things work, look into the Dizzy like the ICM and Coil. that is all I can think of. Make sure your grounds are tight, and put zip ties on the wire boots.

I would replace the rotor. Only $20.00 or so. Had the same happen before. I also replaced the coil as it was bad. Also gap your plugs down to .025. See if this helps

I second that, change the cap and remove and inspect the coil, you may have developed hop spots on it (rainbow-like discoloration) which will drastically shorten coil life.
BTW, it's worth your time to swap plug wires w/ a friend with OEM wires and give that a go as well.
