I have a question for yall. Why couldnt you use copper line for fuel line? I can get like 30 ft of 1/2" id line for about 5 bucks. Sure beats the $120 for ss. line. I would of course buy maybe 5 feet of ss line to weave its ways around my engine bay.
if youre gonna say that pressure is an issue, I think those pigs are filled to well over 100psi...my fuel lines might see 70psi...am I thinking correctly on this issue?

oh ya...forgot about that. any other ideas? Like a superoversized brake-line? Something like AC line would be perfect(but longer)...
im looking for 8an or equivalent by the way

Napa has nice 3/8" hard lines. I used these for the underside of my car to connect the SS lines too. They are already flared and have threaded ends for cheap. I think they might have 1/2" as well.

would napa have something like that? I could just get like 7/16" or 1/2". if i can save money im all for it...

I just talked to Napa. 3/8" is the largest hard line they carry. There was one thing I figured out after I finished my fuel system. All of the Earls adapters and Napa adapters to make the hard lines connect to the SS lines added up and it did not save that much money to use the hard lines. I do, however, like the fact that the lines under the car are hard and hopefully less likely to rip if I were to scrape something. Here is a shot of them going to my tank.

you can get like 25 feet of aluminum 3/8" line for like 30 bux check out summit or jegs

i just got my big summit today. I will be sure to check that out. As for the pics above.... looks like thats what Im gonna have to do...
solid lines seem safer to me as well...

I dont see how hard lines are safer in any way. Take a hammer and smack a hard line....it will smash flat, now take the same hammer and smash a braided line...it wont stay flat--you get the idea.

I would say spend the extra money on the braided lines. Thats what I did.

point taken...but if something comes undone, and the line starts dragging, then uh oh. I guess the same thing could happen with hard lines, but they probably wouldnt drag as low. fuggit ill just put a fuel cell under my dash and call it a day
