Default coolant disappearing question...

my resevior is topped up after a drive my car. the engine is obviously hot when i go to park it. i come out in the morning and all the coolant in my resevior is gone but there is not ONE drop of anything in my parking spot? where is it all going? i just bled the whole cooling system of air bubbles. i had a nice flow going so i put the cap on and left it at that. now in the morning all my coolant is gone. did the rad suck it all back up...how?

is it dissipearing when the car isnt running?...if so then its probably a leak but if your missing coolant after your done running then it could be a number of things..the worst would be the headgasket

its missing after the car has stopped running. there is no coolant on the ground. would it be possible that i have an air pocket so huge that the coolant is actually getting sucked up once the car has stopped running and the motor looses pressure?

its not leaking anywhere. i have a pefectly clean garage floor and there is not one drop of coolant or oil on it. its not even being burned off as i have no white smoke out my exhaust and the compression is 210 psi all across

Keep topping off until it stabilizes. You probably have some air pockets in the system (a pain to purge all air) and as the air is expelled and the engine cools it creates a vacuum. This vacuum pulls the coolant from the reservoir into the system to perform a "top off".

I've been having the same trouble with my DA all week. I replaced the heater hose and bled the system...so far the level in the resevoir has stayed the same...still crossing my fingers though

Well it had split where it meets the head a while back and started spraying everywhere so I did a half-*** rig so that it wasn't leaking coolant and ran that for a while...then finally replaced it this past weekend. I checked my coolant resevoir level this morning though and more was taken out so I have no idea what's going on with it.
