Default considering an overbore throttle body for jrsc

i have a 99gsr jrsc tuned with hondata pushing 230 whp and 160 ft lbs at 6psi. i was thinking about overboring the stock throttlebody or buying a new one. which size should a go with 64mm-70mm.

Your setup is well tuned, so you may see gains from it.

Personally, I did not see any gains from a larger throttle body on my car. (2000 Civic Si, JRSC @ 6 psi). I had a 64mm throttle body that RC Engineering had bored out for me. Since I saw no gains, I sold it and put that money towards a Hondata. I literally swapped them in/out while I was at the dyno and the curves were 99% identical...peak power was the same.

The larger TB did increase throttle response, but it's not worth the price tag IMO.

If you do a bigger TB you need to port the charger intake port to match the TB size.

I say don't waste your money. **** like that doesn't seem reasonable to me when you can always just up the boost a bit.

Your money is better spent elsewhere (or saved...)
