Compression VS. Boost
Ok, i was thinking about the whole built bottom end idea and came up with a conclusion i've never seen mentioned before. This concerns the stock compression of a B16A/B18C motor. I know with a lower compression 9:1 bottom end you are able to run more boost to make up for the lost compression. Does anyone not keep they're 10.2:1/10.4:1 compression and just throw in some forged pistons and use the 8PSI as in per say a drag 3 kit? I know doing this may keep you from seeing higher boost. If i'm opening up a can of worms...just let me know. I've pondered going turbo. Thanks in advance.
