compression too low?

150-150-149-150... engine warm etc.... 8.5:1 weisco...5 years, 50k miles...

yes it was....im just surprised that this motor has less then 5% blow by in the head and the comp # and dead on after 5 years... im thinking its time for a tear down, near bearings rings, oil pump, timing belt....i think she deserves it...

Wouldnt think you were. He has about 50,000 miles. I assume he is asking this question because he has lost some oil pressure ... I ASSume. That's why I said his bearings might need to be replaced. Looks like he is going to check them either way

no actually there is no problem with oil pressure that i know of(dont have a guage)... the car actually drove from orlando to cocoa for the day then to lakeland to see a friend, not one hickup.... so im very pleased.....

this question was more of a maintence question, not a problem. i just did a compression test, the last one i did was when it was new and it was a bit higher....
