Default Compression numbers - how do they look

Engine: D16Y8

Hey guys, just want some feedback on these numbers. Basically i took two runs for each cylinder, just to confirm my numbers. Cranked it 5 times both times. Cylinder 1 being on the right, and cylinder 4 on the left. So here it is:

Cylinder 1- 165psi, 160psi
Cylinder 2- 165psi, 170psi
Cylinder 3- 170psi, 180psi
Cylinder 4- 185psi, 180psi

Please advise, thanks guys.

The difference between your high and low numbers is about 11%. That seems to be a little much, but it's not too terribly bad.

And for a side note... nice avatar

Thanks man. You think it would be safe to turbo the engine?

Thanks about the avatar too.

This is my buddy's car.

Yes I did Mike. Held the gas pedal down and cranked the engine 5 times.

crank more the 5 times, crank each cylinder 5 times until the needle on the compression gauge stops moving

Mase my buddy just did his test again today, this time cranking it until the needle stopped. Numbers came out alot better:

190/190/185/195

Thanks bud.
