Default compression numbers(2)

i took the car back to the shop that dropped in the engine, they did a compression check and got 165 across all cylinders. Wtf....
the only diff from his check to mines was that the engine was real hot, and he cranked it like 10x's.

just to refresh the memory i got, 185 on three and 160 on one cylinder. I cranked like 7x's. I dont know what to think now.

yea i think its suppose to be at normal operating temperature. Did you do it when it was cold? Damn 10x ? what kinda of motor is this LS ?

What is your vacuum at idle ?

vacum at idle is 50.

vac. at 50? mine is at 20. Something is wrong cause 50 is way off.
