i've only seen one jrsc type r run at the track. but it was so disappointing. the guy had drag slicks, the regular bolt-ons and ran a low 14 an then a 14 flat.

i don't know if he was a shitty driver, but some people are running 14.5's in itr's with i/h/e.

a while back while i was at the track i staged up with another jrsc'd r with a custom HKS exhaust and everything, custom intake, exhaust cost the guy about 1 g and the intake 600 bucks. i don't know what the hell he was smoking but we raced 3 times and i spanked him everytime. my mods at the time was gutted and airbox cover off. i don't know about you but i'd go for the turbo if you can deal with maybe sometimes having problems. this was at a track in L.A.

Arent the ITR motors bad for boost? I always thought they were only good for N/A setups as they kinda have the wrong cam profile and to high of a compression. I thought thats why people built their tubo cars on the LS platform. Thats what I've heard but you guys are the pro's.

lol.. you;re funny.. first of all.. no the cam profiles are not bad for turbo and no the copmression is not too high. stock block can easily handle 10psi.
