Compression Drop!!!
Ok...I was at R&D Dyno today and one of my injectors failed...so I replaced all four of them...ran good for a few runs then my number for cyclinder drops compression to 70...it was at 210 before the dyno and after the injector failed. Looked at the spark plug and its grey no carbon deposits though. What do you guys think it is? By the way I made 284 whp and 291 torque before the 4 gave out. Darin at R&D said it maybe the headgasket and or the head itself. Thank for all your help.
how do you know the injector failed? (just Wondering)
Id say add a drop of oil and redo the compression test, then have a leakdown test done too. After those results I think we could offer a better solution.
I had cyc #3 ringland crack on me, my #'s were 180 90 190 210 (B16A2 10.2:1 CR)

The injectors failed because it started to putt like a mother.
