compression on built motors...
Last night i ran a compression test on the Civic.
160 160 152 156
It has .020 overbore, cometic HG (cant remember the size at this moment) and Endyn 9:1 pistons with their rings. Does this sound normal for a built, lower compression b16? The car has a bone stock head as well.
My friend was saying that the car didnt feel strong so i did the compression and put some new plugs in it. He still says it doesnt feel as strong, i think he's just getting used to the power

Thats would also depend on what compressionyou are running, since you have 9.1 pistons and a cometic hg, it seems that it mightbe fairly low, and without turbo or something to back it up, it would tend to feel pretty weak.

The car has turbo, its been turboed since the day the motor was built. He is just saying that the pull doesnt feel as pronounced as it once did, says the VTEC doesnt hit as hard as it used to. I think hes buggin...
