Default compression after rebuild?

ok, only have like 10 miles on my new rebuild:
b18C1 with 9:1 JE pistons, stock headgasket and arp studs with eagle rods and new valve seals. before rebuild before engine blew i had 190 across the board with 76K on the engine.

after rebuild with lower compression pistons i have 185-190 across the board.
Is that what i should expect with lower compression pistons? I have little signs of any burning oil now so i figure the rings are seated?

did test with cool engine, all plugs out and throttle wide open, i suspect it would be higher if the engine were warm?
thanks!
torin

Your compression numbers look good.

Numbers look about be right....I usually see 210-220 across on stock B18Cs....so maybe you were due a rebuild. Test when it's warm though, just to make sure. I hope I get numbers as good when I get mine back.
