Default cometic headgasket break in question

alright i jus finished the build on my lsvtec turbo. a friend of mine told me i should baby it for 500ish miles to let everythin seat b4 i crack v or boost. i installed new arp headstuds nd a cometic mls headgasket. but im confused on y id need to break it in. i didnt replace rings or bearings. jus new head nd applicable gaskets. wat bout the ppl that get done wit a fresh build nd go straight to the dyno nd romp on it for 3hrs. so wat should i do?? baby it for a while or drive it like normal??? need ur input

a headgasket does not need a break in....just make sure it fully warms up and check for leaks etc....

thats wat i thot!! this guy comes up wit interestin stuff nd how to do things so i figured id get some other opinions on the matter. i didnt listen to him anyway. haha plus i street tuned it the day after the build
