Default Cometic Head Gasket Woes!!!

i an using a 85mm HP Cometic HG with ARP head studs running 19 psi with race gas. i have notice that there is a oil leak from the head (Pwr Str side) and slight coolant seeping out on the left front side of the head.I am not running any aggressive timing , it is very conservative. has anyone have similar problems. or is it that the cometic HG cannot handle this high boost??

is this a copper gasket. it is common for slight leaks with a copper head gasket. i sprayed my copper gasket with two coats of copper seal and then put a thin coat of honda bond around the water jacket holes before installing

no. but i sprayed the HG with copper spray and also put hondabond around the oil holes.

as long as the leaks are very slight i would not worry. copper gaskets are very hard to seal. if you do have to remove the head clean the gasket and surfaces
and reapply 2 coats of copper seal to both sides of the gasket. then apply a very thin coat of hondabond around the water jacket holes on the block side and the head side and reinstall.

thanks for your input, man. i am planning on tuning at 24 psi, hope it holds.

Check your valve cover gasket for the oil leak and use some Barr's stop leak.
