Default Colorado FI

Anyone live in Colorado? I will most likely be moving to the Denver/Boulder area sometime this summer and was wondering who's out there, if there are any good shops, available tracks, etc.

If you're looking for colorado specific info, I'd suggest taking a look over on http://www.cosr.com

Hey,
I live here. We have a pretty good Import following believe it or not. We have out fair share of Ricers but the imports are getting faster and cleaner every year. The only track worth racing at is Badimere Speedway in Golden, CO.
Don't go to the previous website mentioned, check out http://www.highaltitudeimports.com for a good group of people from Colorado.

geez..sorry for mentioning cosr I've spent fairly little time on either board lately, so I don't know if cosr is going down the tubes. All i know is that the mod requires a donation to the board to be able to post in classifieds

This may sound like a stupid question considering our cars have barametric sensors, but would a Hondata tuned Turbo GSR require slight retuning moving to such a high elevation or will the stock sensors correctly compensate?

Also, what is the inspection testing like? Is there a smog, sniffer test, or a visual inspection? I just want to know if my car will pass with the turbo on it!

I've never dealt with anything other then our altitude before so I can't help you much there. And unfortunately I've never had to get emmissions because I keep buying new cars that don't require emmissions for 5 years. And if/when I need emmissions, a good friend I went to HS with owns an emmision testing center.

yea, it will need retuning...but because of the altitude it will run a little rich. we've got a handful of dyno places that arent very far & a pretty good import following.

hope to meet you soon.
