color of plugs
What do brown spark plugs mean? Is rich black or brown?

rich is black all around, including the tip of the spark plug. Brown is pretty normal.

brown sounds about just right. you want like a tannish lighht brown .

Tannish light brown is perfect. The plug can get reddish if you use octane booster in the tank.
An ashy grey (gray) tan is a prefect running plug.
