Default cold start issues

ok i posted earlier but i some new stuff came up.

fully built d16 turbo. aaron told me it was he post start fuel compensation, and i trust him but i wanna be 100% sure before i tow this mother back to LJ my tuner to have him fix it.

it got super cold one night like 5 or so and just decided to stop starting. it will start for 2-3 seconds and then shut off, it will do it a couple of times then stopped fireing up at all... and now that its in the 30s+ its still doing the same thing.

if i do manage to get the p.o.s. fired up i have to hold my foot on the throttle and it will give fuel for 1 second, then cut the fuel out, then give fuel then cut it out, until eventually it stops giving fuel all together. tried doing a pull start in 1st to see if it would work and i just got dragged around at 2grand with nothing happening, i did manage to absolutely flood the cylinders though which means im getting fuel, but why wouldnt it fire up?

its not hte fuel pump, the pressure is fine, the fuel filter is brand new and it was starting ok until this point, also has a new distributor before tune (2 months now since tune), it did give me some starting issues but never anything to worry about. just a little sputter every now and again until it got cruising and cleared itself out. only when the car was cold, once it warmed up the car never had a hard time starting.

what could be stopping my car from fireing up even when i pull started it around the driveway loop? thats the only reason im questioning aarons post start fuel compensation theory

any help would be awesome!

p.s. how long do plugs last in turbo apps running 92 oct on a fairly rich tune? (need to get a re tune but im not beating on it and its only running 2 1/2 psi atm so im not scurred) if its just fouled plugs id be so freakin happy. just sucks cuz now theres 8 inches of snow on top of my hood

its sounds like a tuning issue. possibly your IAT offset or a few other off sets.
make sure your plugs are gapped properly.
have your tuner correct the problem so you dont wash out your rings

check your map sensor. My car was doing the same thing and on start up the map sensor would read like 40lbs of boost or some **** and dump a crap load of fuel fouling the plugs and not letting it start. I was using a omni map sensor which since then has changed their epoxy and fixed the problems they were having. Since you have s300 datalog your start up and keep and eye on your MAP/boost readings.

mine was slowly going bad. it would work, then as i was driving it would start running like crap and then just shut off on me. Tried to start it back up and it didnt start. even letting it cool off it didnt start. Then i would let it sit over nihgt and the next day it would be fine. It was really weird. like i said, i only noticed it when i had my laptop with me and saw what the map sensor was reading is when i knew it was bad.
