Shorter might be good for velocity to the blower, but the heat thats created kills it. I reccomend a cold air, just for cooling purposes. I made over 300whp with one on my blower setup.(not that it was because of the intake)

We tested it on the dyno at RLZ one day with my setup, a 3" AEM ITR CAI actually made the most power.

Yes, most power was actually the 3" CAI filterless.

We got about 8 WHP throughout the power band. I didn't try a 2.5" CAI, I have a 75mm throttle body.

CAI will draw in cooler much cooler temps and will give you more power.

Well if its always cool or cold in your area i'd pick up a SRI...if its not then the engine temps are going to climb and i'd get a CAI since the JRSC is a huge heat blower.

Listen to myself, rmcdaniels, and sovxietday. We have tryed numerous setups and CAI is what works the best...no matter what climate. I'd like to see proof from everyone on here that is chiming in and saying go short ram.
