Default Code 1 after install - Checked O2 but it's fine..... What's Wrong???

I have a 99 B18C1 in my 92 VX and recently installed a JRSC complete with all original JR parts including the FMU. As soon as I turned the key over for the fuel pump to pressurize the CEL came on, I jumped the service connector and I'm throwing a Code 1. I checked the O2, even switched to another one but it's still throwing the code. I wondering if it has something to do with the fuel pressure - OEM FPR or the FMU possibly?
Keep in mind that the CEL came on before the car was even started and before the JRSC install the car has ran over 2 years with no CEL's. I followed the troubleshooting procedures for testing voltage and resistance with the O2 and the engine harness connector and it seems fine. Any suggestions?

Are you sure it isn't code 10, intake air temperature sensor as a result of not re-installing it?

Sounds like it is a code 10, not a 1. Long blinks count as 10 and short blinks count as 1.

It does flash one long blink so 10 it must be. That would make sense if it is the Air intake temp considering that the RED/YEL wire is the one that is cut and wired to the Fuel enrichment solenoid. But I don't think that the wiring is the problem. I have an LHT performance manifold which has the water cores inside. The air intake temp sensor hits the core so I modded an old one by grinding some of the tip off which exposed the small wires inside. Looks like I'll need to make a spacer that will push the sensor out far enough for clearance or maybe use one in my intake tube from a 96+ Civic.
