CMI spring jam results......for 2.0liter gsr-turbo
its kinda wack i only got 2 runs in but oh well.......to make a long story short.......
my car hasn't been boosting for 2 months since my manifold flanges all were warped saturday morning i took everything off and brought it to a machine shop and they resurface everything for $80...i reinstalled everything back......and i took it for a test spin and lord did it pull.....i was plannin to spectate anyways....but i decided to race....i had radials but i let my friend use it on his all motor jdm b18c with skunk stage 1 cams, i raced as is....coming from san jose, ca on 15in gsr blades with dunlop fm901 with like 30% cambered
i am running 8psi with a t3/t4 log full SpoolinPerfomance turbo kit with hondata s200b....
i ran 13.5 at 103.643
i know for a fact i could done alot better since i am still untuned all i had was a baseline so the car would start up and idle good...
1st, 2nd, 3rd pulled like a mad dogg but for some reason down the track i shifted into 4th my friend told me from the side look like i let off the gas and was rollin...i was like u serious i feel no pull either.....
my turbo on the exhaust housing leaks a little oil i don't think that would cause that.....
its prolly just tuning hopefully thats the problem i can't wait to tune for 16 psi and head back to the sacramento on a wednesday night grudge feast with some wide M/H slicks.........any size u guys suggest......i will have extended wheel studs
my 60ft on street tire was crazy to me 2.236 all my torque helped.and my traction bar and CTR lsd

second run i don't want to even talk about it next in line my car wouldn't start that mess up my concentration then at the line my car bogged...horribly a geo would beat me off the line then on top of that my friend deflated my street tire not tellin me **** me off knowin that afterwards......he deflated it to 15psi....first run was done on 30psi........
overall i am still happy....kinda long story hahahaha.... since i know i can do alot better......
