Default clutch spins

running a stock gsr drag turbo kit. the oem clutch sucks *** and first gear spins out the clutch, second grips better but tires spin out, also lots of lag. i was looking at the clutch master stage 2 or 3 w/ their flywheel, what is a good turbo clutch and flywheel?

prostreetonline.com has good deals on act and exedy clutchkits and flywheels right now. Might want to check out the sponsor forum. 15% and free shipping off exedy and 10% off act.

you need to look at the amount of torque, not hp.....get one that handles like 350ft/lbs so you have room to grow. If you're looking to spend $500 then you can get pretty much anything......ACT 6pk sprung, 4pk, Exedy something or other...idk just look around. For that amount you can pretty much get anything for that amount of power.....

I just went with the FX500 clutch from Clutchmasters.. Its overkill for alot of setups but I dont like my clutch slipping at all and this isnt an everyday driver.. I really wouldnt recommend this clutch for an everyday driver but I do know some who do it..

For the money I will go with clutch specialty. They are not easy on the street but hold the power when you need them. I had their clutch more than 3 years, and now on a built motor I still go with clutch specialty. LSD motorsport have good deal on them
