Ok just to start off I did a search and frankly the search feature here sucks.

What I'm looking for is some reviews on different clutches for higher hp, say around 5-600whp.
Last year I ran an ACT with good luck and it's held together through alot of abuse the last 4-5 years, the disc is starting to wear down and won't be good for my goals next year. I know I could get a new disc but it's wore the pressure plate and flywheel enough that I wouldn't feel comfortable using them again with high hp.
So in saying that I know ACT is a very good clutch, but I am also willing to try another brand like Exedy, Competition clutch, etc...
So please post up what clutch/flywheel you use, how much hp/tq your making and how long you've had it, how you like it and if you would use it again.

So no one else runs a clutch?? Come on guys this would be good for everyone. I don't want to buy a clutch thinking it'll be good and blow it apart half way through the summer.

Tried the archievesfor a second time, had like 28 results come up, and it didn't get me anywheres. Just some people saying they bought a clutch put it in and drove 500miles. Trust me I don't ask unless I've looked. I've been on H-T since 03 and have 23post, I look but I find the search feature here doesn't seem to work well
What I would like to see for a review would be people how have 500+ hp, what type of clutch they have, how long they've had it (preferably 1 season minimum) How much the car is driven (daily or weekend warrior)
Personally I think this would be very helpful to alot of people.
I know that ACT is a very good clutch, but if I can get say a competition clutch that is going to hold up just as well for $200 less I would rather spend that money elsewhere. But if it turns out the ACT is by far better I would rather spend the money on it and know I have something that will last.
