Default clutch problems

hey guys i have a couple of questions for you. i have been having clutch problems since making two passes at the track. the tranny has been chattering alot and i thought it was the throw out bearing. we removed the tranny today and the pressure plate was in two pieces. the disk looked ok but all three of the (ill use rivets for lack of a better word)rivets that hold it together have sheared off. when we removed the tranny and began to remove the pressure plate the inner part fell out. i have never seen anything like this before so i am not sure if this is something alot of people have had problems with. well here are a few pics sorry for the quality. it is an act unsprung 6 puck with less than 300 miles and386hp 255 ft lbs tq.

thanks for looking.

isnt the break in period for those clutches like 500 miles? Maybe thats why it blew apart.

theres no break in periods on puck discs, and u cant install it incorrectly anyways, i think it was just a bad pressure plate.

same thing happened twice to my friends clutch in his VW corrado. first time the pressure plate fell apart. after we got a replacement clutch it didnt even make it 30 miles in the break in period and the Buttons on the clutch came off and we thought we blew the tranny because the button wedged its self between the pressure plate/ Throw out bearing and it welded the clutch/plate/disk together and was stuck in gear.

never been a fan of ACT clutch since then
