Clutch/flywheel combo w/ stock pedal pressure
Hey guys. I'm looking for a clutch/flywheel combo that will have stock or close to stock pedal pressure, but can handle a Jackson Racing supercharger at 11psi. The car won't be going to the drag strip, maybe will see a bit of Auto-X duty, and is driven pretty much everyday in traffic (hence the wanting of stock pedal pressure). Is there anything out there or am I dreaming? Thanks.

go with either the stage one ACT with lighten flywheel or the Stage 3 Clutch Master kit with thier lightened flywheel. Both of these feel "stock" but give you a nice aggressive grab when shifting. Clutch Master gets pretty expensive and if you don't need anything special than get the ACT and save yourself some money.

The ACT HDSS will be a little stiffer but the engagment is quick, smooth and predictable. The CM is lighter on the foot, but the tradeoff is shorter clutch life to keep the light pedal.

Re: Clutch/flywheel combo w/ stock pedal pressure (ACTman)
I'm running a Competition Clutch stage 3 and one of their flywheels and the pedal pressure is just like stock. It's lasted for a long time and it doesn't fade after it gets hot like the clutchmasters.

im running a act lighten flywhel with act 6 puck unsprung clutch with their heavy duty PP. at first i had a lot of chatter and it was really stif but now 3000 miles later the pedal AND engagement feels liek a stock clutch.. makes me worried... i can pop the clutch and it graps and never slips up at high RPMS even at 20 psi... i guess i just have terrible clutch engagement lol... oh well.. il try soemthing different next time

Just curious on what stage clutch masters clutch you used?? I don't think i ever saw any "fade" in that clutch and i raced up and down the street and track all day! But then again i was using the stage 4, 4 puck none sprung, competition clutchmaster clutch......

I would look at either the Act Hd/SS or the Action 2ks
When i was looking for a clutch I was actualy stuck between the Act Xt/ss and the Action 2ks, I wanted the action because I heard it had a great pedal feel, but when it came down to it I went with the Act and It grew on me within 2 hours. The H/d isn't bad at all though.
I did finally get to feel an Action 2ks and man was that pedal soft, just as everyone had said.
You cant go wrong with either, Ive always used Act's without any probs, although the 2ks may be something to look into as it has a stock like pedal feel.
