clocking a wastegated turbo?
how can i clock a wastegated turbo to point 90º counter clockwise. wont the wastegate actuator get in the way? i really need to clock it like that. its not for a honda setup. im building a bottem mount manifold for my TDI LOL i know tdi. and i need it to be clocked that way.
thx guys

just have to get creative. You might have to rebend the actuator, or find a new way to mount it. Its not rocket science, all it has to do is be secure, and be able to push the rod open freely. I've remounted and or rebent two thus far, no issues, no creep nothing.

Or you could do it a real cheap way. Not long back someone posted his $500 FI setup. He welded a CHAIN to his WG actuator & arm, then kept the arm shut with a spring. Not the safest for a built motor tho
Looking at SRT-4's, they use a multi-bend arm like some other cars. As stated, you could put it anywhere w/ a 20' shaft, as long as its movement is in-line with the WG arm's movement, and both are fixed relative to each other.
