I loosened the bolts(which I think is the right ones)...took a hammer and hammered it pretty hard and still wont budge a bit? anyone run into this problem? or am i doing something wrong? It's a Garrett Airesearch T3 turbo...please help me out! I dont wanna waste this turbo....

I'm smashing the life out of the turbo...any other ideas on how to loosen it up?

Try soaking it in some penetrating fluid and letting it sit.You can then try (where the oil inlet/return are) putting a small pry bar in and pring it apart. Be careful. Good luck.

Put a wrench on that, and turn the CHRA to break it free.
