i dont like them
i had them and they failed on me, the materials they are made off arent as good as OEM bearings
plus clevite only sells STD size bearings or oversized
you can never get the right clearances on each individual journal and cap with all the bearings being the same.

Golden Eagle assembled my block with all oversize bearings of the same measure, are you saying that each journal needs a custom bearing?

Just curious, where do you get your info?

Clevite makes a very good bearing. I'd bet money that you're failure was not the bearings fault.

I'm pretty sure you can get the right clearances with one size bearings if you have a half competent machinist. Just make all the journals the same size.

You either trust your machinist, or you don't. If you don't, than find another one.

nice to hear good things about these bearings.

I'm going to run them in my turbo build next week & my machinist uses them in his nitro car.

if your going to use a good bearing use a H- bearing NOT a P-bearing Clevite does make a awsome rod bearing and use Federal Mogule mains to complete the H- bearing combonation
i use to use the acls and stock and ill never go back after we started using these in our 800+ hp cars
only make them for B series
if your interested in these pm me i have a few sets in stock there pricey compared to other style bearing but you get what you pay for there AWSOME !!!!!
