Cleaning a Turbo!

What can I use to clean the turbo fins and stuff? Is there something that I can spray in there that will not eat up the seals such as Carb Cleaner or Brake Cleaner?

brake cleaner works fine, and wont damage anything.. unless you've painted your compressor housing, have you?

no I have not painted it . . . was just a little worried about using brake cleaner . . . didn't want it to eat up any of the seals or anything like that.
