cleaning out an intercooler....

cleaning out an intercooler....
i just picked up a starion intercooler and it looks like there is a small amount of oil,dirt etc.....how do i go about cleaning that stuff out?thanks

Use brake cleaner. It won't leave any residue and cleans well. Soap will leave a film on the inside of the IC where dust and dirt can accumulate and just make it dirtier
