Civic EX motor noise.....HELP!
I have a 99ex with drag 3 turbo kit just installed about 3 weeks ago..about a week ago i noticed a taping sound that kinda sounds like an exhaust leek...but its comin from the motor...i constantly check the oil but its always where it should be...also when i drive and i let the car idle down in 2nd gear i here a fluttering sound...the car rides fine...sometimes a little hestitent.... please help thanx

hmmm..detonation...thats a scary sound...what are you fuel mods? you running rich under WOT?

no not detonation.....its a constant sound...a tap..like a valve tap...but i check my oil regulary and i keep it a little above ful.... vortec fmu and a new intank fuel pump 255... fuel preasure reg...
