Chiping OBD2??????
hey whats up everyone.... i was looking around on the internet for some way to get rid of my car's rev limiter.... and i ccant seem to find any sort of chip or an obd 2 ecu......... is there any easy(cheep) way to get rid of my rev limiter and/or way to get a chip that will do so for an obd 2 ecu??? or am i jsut **** out of luck and need to get a hold of an obd 1 p74-p75 ecu and then chip it?\

There is a company that makes an adapter to fit on top of the MCU and will allow you to override the stock MCU's ROM with another, BUT it's expensive and I would suggest you convert to OBD-1...you'd be better off financially and there are many more options.
hmm well i guess its time for the ebay hunt to begin....... or maybe jsut a get a hondata ... but there are no one in alaska that can tune a hondata (but a an obd1 ecu, chip, and adapter harness would be cheeper than full hondata setup anyways).........the only tuner shop with a dyno only knows about the aem ems...and the other tuner shop knows has no experience with it...........
the only reason im asking is because i am going to rebuild my motor eventually, (block and head) and want to rev up to maybe 7500 or 8000...........and already ordered an Safc am going to get a cartech fmu in a few months........
