Default checking for wiring resistor box

I need to check which wires in the clip injector go to dead-en clip connector. what would I be looking for with my multimeter ? voltage? AC? DC? Continuity? Current?

and how I should check ? I put positive sensor of the mutimeter in the dead-end clip and negative sensor of the multimeter anywhere in the engine bay ?

doesent matter what end you use for what if your only checking continuity
