Default Check this out, need advice..

Here are some shots of my plugs as they are now, I was hoping somebody could give me a little insight on them, make sure you see what I see (forgive the quality please!)

These are my newer BCPR7E-11's. I've noticed that since I switched from the 6 series to the 7's, my plugs never "looked" the same as before. I recall my old BCPR6's being darker, but maybe it was because I had them in there for like 15k miles? These are dark around the unsulator, the electrode is a dark grey, but the upper electrode/arc has a light tip with what looks like very small speckels.. any idea? BTW my fuel setup is:

RC 440cc injectors
V-AFC with about -15% trim at WOT for 10psi
93 octane pump gas
-3 degrees timing retard
stock igntion w/ new factory wires

Thanks

If those are dry sooty carbon deposits, you're probably running a little rich. The only other thing it could be is ash deposits, usually caused by fuel additives aka: octane booster.

But I think they look like normal boosted plugs.

Haven't used any octane booster (untill last night) so that can't be it.. anybody else have a take on this?

I've heard the little specs can be from Detonation, could someone please further speculate on this?

its a decent picture but its still hard to make out. if your lean, you'll have what looks like crystals formed which are very different from what it looks in the picture. if anything, your safe......at least thats what it looks like.
