So hey everyone so far I'm in the planning part of turboing my car. I've got a nice parts list. First I am going to swap in an EX tranny and finish my vtec y8 head conversion then I will start collecting turbo parts.
First I installed cruise control and a tach because my car didn't come with these. I have some shifter bushings and a B&M short throw on the way. I also just scored a D16z6 manifold and throttle body, complete with all sensors, for only $10.51 + 20 shipping on ebay.
I've heard from multiple people that I can put together a kit for about 1000 and I'm not even close, how can I get it the cost down?
I've spent many many hours researching. I plan to run crome on a P28, I've familiarized myself with all the menus and stuff and I've recently been looking over other peoples bins so I can understand tuning better.

I got the dsm 440's and didn't even use the clips. You can file down the ridge on the injector so that they work with your wiring harness.
I bought my injectors on ebay for $50 and had them cleaned by SJersey for $50.

Dsm 440's are the blue top injectors that came on the 1st generation Eclipse Turbo, like 94-97.
