you are so right , what i think is this...
OBX should like give like 5 people this same manifold and
let them test it out. so it can see all different type of setups
dont bash till u have some good proof that either its good or it sucks ***

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by newgsrdriver &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">First off, if someone is arguing that they arent comprable, then goes on to compare them, it doesnt make for a compelling argument.

Second, there definitely are differences, you can see it in the pictures side by side.

They are different manifolds for different kinds of consumers. There are 2 types of people that buy products, one that wont spend x amount, and one that will. The one that will does so for a reason, and that kind of customer does NOT want an OBX manifold.

Why make comparisons when all we have are 2 pictures and the term 321. Why not get some hard facts, THEN start debating differences. Until then, lets not see any more pointless debates about a product we know nothing about.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I want cheaper parts for my car. It is stupid how much it costs for import parts.. There is NO reason for it. If it takes companies to outsource products to get the prices down, great!.. When I can buy two headers for my mustang for $150 and one for my honda for $400 Or mandrel bent dual exhaust for $250 for the stang and $500 for a single for the Honda. Things are backwards.

to obx...</TD></TR></TABLE>
I totally agree about the pricing, this is so true. My friends with domestics build their cars for half what mine costs and usually they are faster. I don't know if obx is the answer but a very valid but probably not taken point has been made here!

its very strange to say if someone had a bad experience with a brand name say full-race....it would most likely be called a fluke and nothing else said...but when another company with a similar product thats less expensive has a problem...its the " u get what u pay for " or " i told u so "....

would you guys feel better if u knew that a full race manifold cost 400 to manufacture and they sell it to people for 900+...would you guys feel ripped off?? or do you just justify a product by opinions based solely on wagoneers....because you guys ony judge a book by its cover....everyone knows obx isnt full-race...but who the hell is full-race???? 90% of us import people kno who obx is...the flames must justify the means...and since no one has actually had a chance to use it...then why so many negative post....

i say more power to obx for giving what the import scene needs...a more affordable way to achieve our passion for speed....

and im not talkign any mess about full-race...their products are tried and true for the most part...

I dont see how some of you are saying one product is better than the other. No one that has posted has any idea how the obx one is made. For all you guys know its a full race/lovefab mani painted silver. I personally wont be buying the obx manifold even though its only 400 bucks. But i also wont be spending 1200 dollars on the full race manifold. There are PLENTY of other ppl that make a full race knock off that is just as good for half the price.

While I agree that you may be paying for the tech support and the good customer service through full race. ******* 800 bones for it is ******* rediculous. I think the fullrace mani is awesome, but there are 2 reasons for me personally to go with it.

1. Only a 1 year warranty. Great mani, but why the short warranty?

2. you can get one from toyosupr or lovefab for a couple hundred less. In the case of toyosupr its half the price, and he ALSO offers a 1 year warranty. Dont believe he has had ANY problems with ANY of his manifolds either.

to obx
to fullrace for bringing great products to the front
to anyone that actually tries to help out the racer instead of helping out his own pockets.

The reason for having only a 1 year warranty is because tubular manifold WILL crack at some point. It doesn't matter who makes em, they will all crack at some point. So if it's gonna crack, I rather have my $400 manifold crack than a $1200 one.

obx rocks, also have obx stage 2 cams to... they work flawlessly and no pad wear after 2300 miles either.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Its kind of hard to **** up an exhaust. my buddy custom bent mine and hes an individual not a "major manufacturer" like obx lol. now cams on the other hand I would never put those in my motor. Keep us posted though on how they turn out. id trust honda oem over obx. but i wont trash um until i hear complaints.

Exactly my point. Just about everyone that makes the equal length manifold has a 1 year warranty.

If the full-race is THAT much better than the rest of them, and you are going to be paying twice as much, I think you should be guaranteed a better product. Not just the usual 1 year warranty.

And yes this is just the way I would LIKE for it to be. I understand that in racing nothing is a sure thing and you will always break something.. blah blah blah

Same o discussion EVERY TIME!!

"SSauto / OBX is wack!"

Yet, hundreds of people still try it out..! Yet only few out of those hundred complains about them...

No matter what you guys say! or do.. People will tend to go for the lower price.. -=P Sad? Nope... Its budgeting for yah...

I support the manifold. Soon enough, im sure I would try it out and let everyone know how it goes..

Im 3 months on the SSauto Manifold... And its still running Strong!! Yes, I beleive..

their is no wear on the pads (what the lobs rub on) and thats what people guess would happen, well its not wearing and the motor is daily taken to 9800 ... almost every time its at a red light.. lol

20 bucks of gas just lasting a little over a day.. and 40 dollars for a night of street racing, yeah, it does see 9800 alot.

The collector is the stamped style. Which works great.
