Who cares if they are copies or not.. I want cheaper parts for my car. It is stupid how much it costs for import parts.. There is NO reason for it. If it takes companies to outsource products to get the prices down, great!.. When I can buy two headers for my mustang for $150 and one for my honda for $400 Or mandrel bent dual exhaust for $250 for the stang and $500 for a single for the Honda. Things are backwards.

to obx...

define competition.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

competition as in same product, different brand. in this case the product is a turbo manifold. so you don't get the same amenities with obx (i.e. tech support, warranty, etc.), but they are still a competitor nonetheless.

First off, if someone is arguing that they arent comprable, then goes on to compare them, it doesnt make for a compelling argument.

Second, there definitely are differences, you can see it in the pictures side by side.

They are different manifolds for different kinds of consumers. There are 2 types of people that buy products, one that wont spend x amount, and one that will. The one that will does so for a reason, and that kind of customer does NOT want an OBX manifold.

Why make comparisons when all we have are 2 pictures and the term 321. Why not get some hard facts, THEN start debating differences. Until then, lets not see any more pointless debates about a product we know nothing about.

Interesting... Personally I'll stick with Full-race "any" products. The tech support, the quick replies to all my questions regarding there product or any product.

"You can't put a price on tech support or great customer service." I'll always pay more for that...

you really think they are the same?
come on now, lets be realistic.

and it looks like you answered my question that you dont know what critical thinking is.

regardless of the h-t bandwagon hoopla, there are still good and bad products that can come from either good/bad companies. it my eyes, bandwagon or not, the quality of a product matters alot.

Damn, this thread is getting a little huge for the topic (ironic that I'm adding to it...) Anyway, did anyone actually buy this part yet? If so, please let the forum know how it works out. I'm very curious and would like some feedback on the product's performance.

I will have to admit...in the past I have used an OBX item (header for 97 Prelude). That **** really sucked!!! Took me a while to put it on because the damn thing didn't fit right. Once it was installed, the car ran like ****. Didn't really matter then.... since I only bought the header so I could trade the car in for a SUV. I sorta felt bad for the guy who bought the car after I traded it in. Again...considering my PAST experience with that cheap-*** brand...OBX sucks!!!

competition breeds innovation.

until someone buys this mani and tries it under real world conditions no one can say its ****.

i for one applaud companies that make decent parts for cheap, and scorn the ones that make chap parts for too much.

My only direct experience with them is the Focus header that is built just like this one. I looked it over closely and the welds and quality are top notch. It is possible that the quality of the product is improving.

awesome post! It looks like Full Race will be closing our doors shortly. There certainly is no point in being in business when quality parts like these can be had!

All right all right. I didn't even get to the bottom of this thread because i couldn't take the whining pissing moaning petty *** cry-baby b.s....Now thats cool if people want to be on honda-tech to fight like little girls, but whats the point. Now I've heard some good points and bad points also, but to bicker about it is retarded. Its like this... you got your cheap bastards who are just plain cheap, you have your legitimate budget minded racer that may just be trying to look past the hype and find some well performing products for less, you have people with big bucks that want the bling type parts that have thus far proven to be about the best out there, and you have the assbags that have the big bucks and also not the slightest clue about anything that just want to be able to say they have the bling type parts, but are still assbags.... or maybe I just don't have a goddamned clue because I only have like 5 posts.
