I have a 94 Integra LS on RevHard2c kit. SInce the rev hard downpipe ends at the oil pan i have not put on my O2 sensor yet. The check engine light is on and i was wondering if iam losing any hp from this? If so how much do you estimate? Also how many degree retard should i be at for 6.5 psi of boost? Some people say on an LS, you dont even need to retard it at all. My set up consists of the following:

Rev Hard 2c T3/t04e, Tial 35mm w/g, turbular cast manifold, revhard intercooler, Walbro 255 HP pump, AEM high flow fuel filter, 12:1 FMU, MSD HVC coil, MSD digital six, MSD 8.5mm wires, MSD procap, NGK 2 step colder 7 series, PCV vavle eliminated, charcoal canister eliminated. Thanks.

 

I'd retard the timing about 2 degrees just to be safe. Yes you will be losing power by having a cel because your car will be runing in limp mode, est... 0-100hp ...
Why did you remove your pcv system and charcol canister

 

I thik the primary 02 sensor is a "soft" code that wont throw your car into limp mode. Could be wrong though. . .

 

I need to get a bung welded on my dp so thats why i have my o2 sensor out. I removed the PCV valve system charcoal canister system becuase they are useless under boost and i dont plan on passing smog. i have no ac or ps or cruise control. PCV puts buncha oil in your intake manifold as well which lowers the octane of your gas. I have a catch can setup.

 

the o2 sensor wont throw your car into limp mode... it will force your car into open loop tho

 

would this cause any loss in hp or anything? Thanks

How do you figure? what about when you not in boost? normal driving your pcv system will work and do it's job. If your getting enough oil in your intake manifold to break down the fuels octane you have some serious blowby problems that need to be addressed.

 

i have a catch can set up with the black box, it seems to be doing its job and catchin oil vapors. Would i lose any hp with open loop w/o an o2 sensor? The check engine light is on.

 

well your not going to get any feedback from your o2 sensor, so you will be runing on pre pregramed fuel maps. Why not just fix it?

 

iam going to fix it soon, just wondering if im losing any power from having no feedbackf rom the o2 sensor for now.

 

probably, i know when my o2 went bad my car ran like ****, but it doesnt sound like yours is......

 

running with a abd o2 sensor will only slow your car down when cruising at part throttle. your ecu goes into open loop mode anyways when u floor the gas so 1/4 time wont change.

 

darn. my car seems to wanna die at low rpms tho.
