chamber coating?

Default chamber coating?

has anybody had experience w/ a turbo motor and coated (heat) i.e. chambers, intake/exhaust ports, and pistons? How did it work out? Good/bad? If bad, what problems did you have? reliability issues? race only? ok for street?

i've heard it's good to do pistons....i dunno about other parts..

swain tech ( http://swaintech.com/price.html ) offers it. I know it will make power more efficiently and reduce energy loss to heat. But is it worth it for street? I am willing on paying to do this as long as it won't cause any issues w/ reliability.

Issues I've considered:
Coating going bad in some places and possible causing cracking?
head gasket problems w/ some parts expanding more and other less because of the coating?

Any insight or links to read and research would be helpful. I did try to search the net but no luck yet.

Not much information out there on this topic. But the way I see it, the less heat transferred into the head, the better.

I have NO doubt that its better and will increase performance. But has anybody had it done to a head and ran it as a daily driver?
