Well guys I have been building this car for almost two years now... i will add more pics.... but the time has come for a tune now.... I have been talking to the guys at CFT and should start making the trip tomorrow towards florida to get tuned fridea. 886 miles one way about 13 hour drive. The tuner recomended type r cams but they will be hard to find by friday but if i do find some at affordable price i will buy them. but for now here is the set up... Enjoy... (i know its not the cleanest setup but i built everything in the kit)

Head consist of:

gsr cams(unless can find some type r cams)

I can't tell which pic is first or last but I hope you didn't leave the braided oil feed line behind the timing belt... that's a snapped belt waiting to happen.
Good luck!
P.S. You're nuts for driving that far away from one of the best tuners in the country much less your own state.

you cant afford tony to tune your car, but your gonna spend all that money on gas to drive to florida? there isnt anything wrong with cft, but t1 is just way closer.

its all about the quality you can afford, so it shouldnt matter,..dont think tony is down for cash plus monopoly money to fill the deficit void.

I have exactly enough money to go to florida have them tune car and come back.... im short about two hundred dollars for tony .... i know its only a couple hundred dollars but i just dont have it nor can i spend any more money on this project... having two kids and being a single parent i just cant do it... and the price of cfts tune is what makes it possible for me to get tuned by them and be able to drive their also. It is what it is nothing i can do about it.... Both shops are bad ****

Re: Central Florida Turbo bound from Texas<
Damn, and I used to think driving 5 hours to the dyno was alot (that was the only option).
So since you only have exactly enough for the minimum, what is your plan if things go wrong?? What if you need to buy parts while your there?? Or you break and have to drive all the way back with nothing (or tow vehicle breaks down)?? I would never go to the dyno without at least a few hundred extra for parts/problems, let alone driving 13 hours or whatever.
Good luck, it just does not seem like a good plan on a short budget.

If I could save a little extra money I would drive to T1.
Or hell even miller.
I was gonna go to CFT, but orlando just isnt a great place to have a nice car around.
