Center section question
....so when you buy one of those "center section" replacements...do you just find an exhaust and compressor housing, and bolt it up?
Like if i were to purchase one of these.....would any t3 housings work?

The people that buy the center section replacements bolt up the new center section to the backplate of the orginal turbo, but that doesn't mean that the compressor and exhaust housings would be of quality material to just bolt up.. especially from e-bay..
The center section must have the exhaust wheel that is matched to the housing that you're going to use, so you'll need to know what exhaust wheel that is included in the center section, and be able to have the right t3 flanged housing to match. Just because the wheel "fits" inside the housing you may have, doesn't mean that it would fit properly with the correct clearance b/w the wheel and the housing that you're using.
You're better off getting a whole new turbo..
