my CEL has been coming on lately white boosting. i checked out what code it was and its the Map sensor. all hoses are connected, and i have it hooked up to a missing link.
will gettin a new map sensor fix this problem? can missing links go bad?

Jeterkn02, I have been having the same exact problem, lets try to get the gurus on here.
My integra has been turbo'd for over four years, with the missing link, and have been boosting 10 psi without a problem. I just recently rebuild the head (without touching the MAP) and now it is throwing this code at boost (especially higher gears)
I am wondering if there is any way to clean the map or the missing link.. I am also going to test the MAP by swapping it out and also by reading the voltage during use..
any input from anyone with this problem is much appreciated. I do plan to go to engine management soon, but it doesnt make sense unless the car is running well with a stock ecu, i dont want my problems to compound...

Sounds like the check valve
I am not sure how you could clean it?? You should be able to blow through one side and not the other! The side you can blow through should go up top. Maybe check the seals on top of and below the check valve and make sure they’re installed properly.

Before I got my ems mine would do the same thing everyone once in a while. You may want to unscrew the map sensor and see if it is dirty mine had some crap on it. I am not sure if you can use carb cleaner on it to clean it but I don't see why it would hurt it.
