Default CEL Code 67 (?)

67 Catalyst System Efficiency System below threshold, bad catalytic converter

I have a random technologies high flow cat, is this a code i shold be worried about or should i just reset it and forget about it? Its been about 8k miles without a problem but is there something i can do to keep it from comming back or it just the nature of it. Dirty o2 sensor maybe? thanks in advance.

That's not an uncommon problem with aftermarket or "race" cats. The ECU doesn't feel that the non-OEM cat is doing its job.

Has this problem kept coming back recently?

whats up sonny? Actually tonight is the first time it has ever showed up. I know most people just drive around with teh cel on and forget about it but I dont rreaelly wanna do that in case another problem shows up i would never know since the cel would always be on. i guess ill just reset the light and see what happens, worse comes to worse i can get one of those o2 sims, what are your thoughts on that? My friend has one and his car runs funny when its cold and we think it might be that causing it.

ok so i'm at home now, this is my normal screen name but anyway, i reset the ecu before i drove home (about 25 minutes) and no CEL to speak of. The only thing the car is doing which i thought was strange was when i come to a stop and its in neutral the rpms will shoot up to 1500 then float back down to 1000 where it will stay (which is fine by me except i know thats higher than normal and higher than it was before) Does this have anything to do with resetting the ECU or is this unrelated. it could be to early to tell anything im just trippin since strange **** is happenining all in the same night. the only thing different about my car VS before today is I changed my oil. No F'n clue. Any thoughts i'd like to hear em.

The only thing I can think of that would explain your idle jumping to 1500 and going back down is a bad IACV, or maybe a vac leak.
