CEL after boost
happens mostly uphill sometimes the temp raises and goes down on my 91 accord f22a doesnt happen all the time though. changed timing belt, water pump, radiator cap, coolant temp sensors, thermostat, and did a coolant pressure test. running a open dumptube right now but going to have one made soon. its a sfp manifold so the wastegate is blowing right by the dizzy thinking that mit be it going to check for air bubbles again tomorrow. thanks

Re: CEL after boost
OK..listen the code should be stored in the computer even if the car comes off..have u tried just turning on the ignition (without starting) and jump the wires?
the code will disappear when the car turns off but it should be stored in the computer until u rest or pull the fuse for the computer..
and i don't recommend jumping the wires when the car is running.

Re: CEL after boost
Going uphill, the car is under load, more load than usual. And often in these cells, some cars that are street tuned, tend to be lean here, or not have enough timing in those cells, causing higher than normal EGT's, causing higher under hood temps, and also if your DP is close to your radiator, will cause it to heat that more aswell. S300 usually throws the overheating code at 220*f ECT.
I'm actually from Oregon, A few of my good friends opened a shop here Called Garage 808, as the 3 of them are originally from Hawaii.
I'd almost bet that is your CEL, just needs a bit more fine tuning, and maybe some exhaust wrap on the DP?

Re: CEL after boost
My civic used to do the same thing on hills when it was warm out, added some timing in the lower rpms of the last 3 vacuum columns and first couple boost columns, then retuned the AFR's, never happened again
