He has to much current coming into the ecu. The electronic load dectector senses a surge in amperage, probably due to not having enough resistence somewhere in the wiring.

The ELD is located under the engine compartment fuse box. Diaconnect the electrical connector from the ELD. Measure voltage between the power and the ground with ignition ON. Power wire is black/white (Civic) or black/yellow (Integra), ground is black on both. I dont know what color the power wire is on any other models. If there is no voltage check the wiring harness back to the fusebox (under the dash) and the main box (engine compartment). After that measure voltage between the green/red terminal (+) and blck terminal (-). There should be 4.5 to 5 volts. If no voltage is present, check the ELD circuit between the fuse box and ECU. Switch the engine off and reconnect the connector to the ELD system. Start the engine and let it idle, then measure voltage at the green/red terminal. Now turn on the low beam headlights abd check the voltage at the green/red terminal. It should be less than when you had the lights off. If not you have to replace the ELD. The shitty thing about it is you will have yo buy a whole new main fuse box. I hope this helps, if you have any more problems PM me

I got that when my O2 sensor wires were crossed.

It could also happen in the B16a wiring setup. The b5(I think) is the ELD on the D16, where it is a VTEC oil pressure sensor wire or something on the B16a ECU.

Might want to check into what ECU the person is running and make sure it's wired properly.
