catch can.....
im confused as to what exactly a catch cans purpose is and how it works.... any little help would be appreciated
just looking to get a bit more informed. been doing lots of reading lately so i dont try and dive into a project not knowing what im doing and what not...

im looking into a catchcan this winter also...
my understanding is that it is simply used for crank case ventilation... It allows air build up to have a way to escape.. some do it from the valve cover because you wont have as much oil with the air....
that is basically all it is...
im sure someone will chime in with a more descriptive explanation... with more technical terms...
