Default Cat question - need help as soon as possible

im trying to install a 96-00 greddy 19t kit for my dx...i just found out that the cats are different in an ex and a dx....so my question is, if i was running for a little while without a cat, what would i do with the oxygen sensors?...will the engine run fine if the sensors are just hanging there until i can get an ex cat?

please help asap, thanks.

Iv'e heard that some people will mount the o2 sensor to a runner on the manifold and the heat will keep the sensor from sending a code. Not sure if it works all the time, but interesting nonetheless.

umm what are you going to be using for fuel management?

personally, when i installed my kit on my dc, i ran open downpipe for a week or so. it threw a code, i never chekd what it was, but it ran fine.. and it pulled hard.

i think you will be fine until you get that cat.

good luck
