Default Which Cat?

What would be a good high flow cat that fits to a Thermal 3'' exhuast? If there isn't any that fit, how much would it cost to have a muffler shop weld on a universal cat?

Thanks for the info.

Is there a specific cat that fits to the exhaust? As in to ask, does anyone have a part number?

Carsound cats are the best, and a 94100 series 3" with no air should be a good replacement it's about the size of a GSR's, flows enough to support 360 CI (or a 5.9L) engine, and will support a 600 lb. vehicle and remain CARB approved. That is the one that I run on the street when I have an exhaust. And I would recommend it to anybody running a full 3" turbo exhaust. Hope this helps

And sorry it's the 94100 series but the exact part # (the 3" with no air tube) is 94102. And just to add, the dimensions are 13" long tip to tip. 9" for just the convertor, 6.5" wide and 4" tall. Here is the picture of the dimensions:

Hope this helps,

Yeah, but I am pretty sure that's just a resonator. It doesn't function as a cat at all, it just fits where a cat would normally go. So it wouldn't be what this guy needs. I would go with carsound 3" as everyone else said.

Well, you know how the part of the jack that you... well jack... The handle well on my jack it's a split handle, meaning you can take a bolt out of it and make it shorter, well i just took that half off and peat the end of that with a hammer to hollow out (gut) my stock cat before I got my all custom #' Turbo back exhaust with the custom Carsound cat. It worked fine and had this infectious smell when I was running on 110 octane!!!! That was some good stuff! hope this helps.
